Potomac Champion Award honorees at the 9th Annual Potomac Watershed Trash Summit

The Potomac Watershed Trash Summit is a forum where elected officials, government agencies, non-profits, businesses, and concerned citizens gather to discuss regional policies and efforts to reduce litter and waste in the Potomac Watershed. Every year the Alice Ferguson Foundation recognizes leaders and organizations who make an extra effort to help mitigate litter in the watershed by presenting the Potomac Champion Awards.

The award plaque was appropriately partly crafted out of Potomac driftwood, giving it a unique character.

The Award legend
