Description: Nature Journaling is a relaxing way to see and experience our local parks in a new way and can help us get "up close and personal" with plants and animals we might otherwise miss. We can immerse ourselves in the changing of the seasons. It's also a great way to become more comfortable painting and sketching in plein air (outside), and doing studies that inspire future paintings.
A basic Nature Journaling kit doesn't require a huge investment. Start with a small sketchbook, a set of watercolor pencils, a pencil and eraser, sharpener, and camera.
