City of Fairfax Residents Smelled Chlorine

Friends of Accotink Creek near Stafford Dr. and Ranger Rd. discovered dead fish and crayfish in North Fork Accotink Creek Saturday afternoon and called DEQ after hours number, 1-800-468-8892, found at http://www.accotink.org under "Whom Do You Call."
Hazardous chemicals also required a call to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue, 703-691-2131. Fire and Rescue, Police and Virginia Department of Evironmental Quality arrived and investigated.

What a sad day to discover the Creek smelled like bleach and to see dead fish.
